Irene Oswald was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Oregon State University before earning her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School. During law school, Irene participated in moot court competitions and worked as a research assistant for the Insurance & Risk Management Clinic, gaining practical experience in complex insurance disputes and coverage analysis.
Admitted to practice eight years ago, Irene began her career handling a broad spectrum of insurance litigation matters, including general liability, property, and commercial insurance coverage cases. Over time, she developed a specialized focus on auto-industry insurance coverage litigation, representing clients in matters involving vehicle sales, leases, rentals, and fleet policies, as well as related fraud and misrepresentation claims.
